The threshold overrides in NPM 10.7 are a great idea, however only one threshold can be applied to BOTH errors and discards:
ideally these should be separated out, as my tolerance to discards is higher than my tolerance to errors - i.e. I accept that discards happen and wouldn't investigate for smaller numbers, however (in the majority of cases) ALL errors would be investigated.
The values are stored in separate fields in the database, so I should be able to have separate thresholds.
