Orion:alert was re-activated and Orion: alert is no longer active

Hi,

Please could I get some clarification on the "Orion: alert was re-activated" and "Orion: alert is no longer active" notes that are added and under what circumstances these are applied.

My understanding is:

An Orion monitored node goes down (Alert is triggered, and sent to Alert Central creating a "triggered" status alert)

Engineer acknowledges the alert in Alert Central (Alert Central updates the "ACKNOWLEDGED BY" field on Orion with "[username] - Alert Central"

[The problem affecting the node is resolved somehow]

Node comes back up (Orion: alert is no longer active)

Engineer closes alert on Alert Central

If the node then goes back down again, at which point is it considered a new alert and at which point is it considered "alert was re-activated"?  Is it only considered "alert was re-activated" if the trigger condition re-occurs BEFORE Engineer closes alert on Alert Central?  Is it considered a new alert after x amount of time?

Thanks

Stuart
