Company Mail Server Configuration Error

Hi folks,

I'm receiving the following error:

The mail server test failed due to the following error(s):

 

org.springframework.mail.MailSendException: Mail server connection failed; nested exception is javax.mail.MessagingException: Could not connect to SMTP host: 172.16.10.1, port: 25; nested exception is: java.net.SocketException: Permission denied: connect

However, I've attempted to telnet send mail to our company mail server without any issues. I have other services using the same configuration and they work fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm on the trail version and this is a deciding factor for us to go forward or not with the purchase.
