Receive 2 events

for each event I receive 2 messages in my Message center and I'd like to only receive 1

For example if a threshold is met on my Windows 2003-2012 services counters I'll receive 2 messages 1 for Component pages/sec.... and the second one will be Application Windows Server 2003-2012.....

I had this problem before on another install and I was able to resolve this by going into the database and modifying the EventTypes table but for the life of me I can't remember what I did.  Can someone please help?
